Modeled numbers, not guarantees

Every result an engine produces is a calculation built from the inputs you give it and, where you have not supplied your own quote, a dated, sourced default. Real prices, real resale values, and real repair costs vary by region, by season, and by the specific boat, and they will differ from any modeled figure. Treat every output as a decision aid, not a guaranteed cost or a promise about the future.

Towing, capacity, and anything safety-adjacent

Nothing on this site certifies that a tow vehicle, trailer, or boat combination is safe or legal to operate. Tools that touch tow rating, payload, GCWR, or tongue weight perform conservative arithmetic against the numbers you enter and flag when a stated limit appears exceeded; they do not inspect your actual vehicle, trailer, or hitch, and they cannot account for wear, modification, or local regulation. Your vehicle manufacturer's towing guide, your trailer's data plate, and your boat's capacity plate are the actual authority. When this site's math and that documentation disagree, the documentation wins.
